Started in 2005, “Sugarboo” came from a couple of nicknames the founding artist, Rebecca Puig, has for her children, Jake and Sophie. They are the main inspiration of the creativity behind Sugarboo - as a constant reminder of the ones we love. Since childhood, Rebecca loved to paint and create things. She attended the University of Georgia and graduated with a Studio Art degree.Sugarboo inspirations are about family, nature, animals, old things, children’s art and folk art - with a belief in putting good out into the world whenever possible.
